I’m Saurabh, an independent designer based in India, currently doing product, design & systems at Primer.  Here's a visual gallery of some of my best work:

Along these past years I've designed for very different kinds of industries like healthcare, banking, trading, AI tools, web3 but my major experience lies in fintech and payments (like Primer & Axis Bank).

At Primer, the most impact I've had was when I improved the adoption of their Monitors product by 23%, created a unified filtering experience across the Primer dashboard, redesigned one of the most crucial page at Primer - The payment details page, led the strategy for a highly customizable checkout experience.

Apart from Product design, I specialize in design systems. I jumpstarted Subzero, the design system for Axis Bank (as an intern) currently being used by millions of users. At Primer, I led the Goat design system from a nascent idea to a self-sustaining established culture. I talk about a small part of that story in the journey of a date time picker.

As you can deduce till now, I’m a big fan of "text" - not just because I’m a minimalist but because I resonate a lot with it's efficiency of communicating ideas. Hence, I read a lot and also write about ideas that drive me like freelancing, designing systems or this reddit post on travelling light. More of such can be found on Substack.

I also curate & maintain a community resource I created, heydesign.systems - which is an introductory resource for anyone starting to learn about design systems.
